Andrew is a certified Physician Assistant who has worked with Dr. Michael Schuck since 2015. They specialize in adult joint reconstruction of the hip and knee. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative issues of these joints. Initial focus is on joint preservation with progression to surgical procedures as necessary. They specialize in joint replacement and revision procedures as well as arthroscopy of the hip and knee.Andrew enjoys spending time educating his patients about their orthopedic problem, and empowering them to be active in establishing a plan of care. He believes that having an understanding of your diagnosis and treatment options allows you to have the best opportunity of finding a treatment option that works for you.

Andrew first started working as a Certified Physician Assistant in 2002 while living in North Carolina. He provided all aspects of Orthopedic care in his roles. This included running a busy Orthopedic Urgent Care location, providing office-based Orthopedic care, evaluating and treating hospital-based patients, as well as assisting in all scopes of Orthopedic surgical procedures.Andrew graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. He grew up outside of Boston and moved south after school. After 13 years in North Carolina, he and his family moved to Colorado and have been enjoying Colorado ever since.

As a certified physician assistant, Mitch works alongside Dr. Doner specializing in the evaluation and treatment of orthopaedic and sports medicine conditions. He assists Dr. Doner in the operating room and provides care to patients in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Mitch’s care philosophy is to take time with each patient to come up with the most accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.

Mitch graduated from the physician assistant program at the OU-School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, OK. He enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of Colorado’s many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and skiing.

Sara Beauchamp is a board-certified physician assistant that works with Dr. Ronald Hollis. She has over 10 years of orthopedic experience and has completed an orthopedic PA fellowship training program. She graduated with her BS in Biology from Texas A&M University and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She also received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Sara and her husband enjoy hiking, running, and enjoying the beautiful Colorado scenery.

Johanna is a board-certified nurse practitioner and has worked in orthopedics since. She has joined CCOE to work as a nurse practitioner to Dr. Henderson, specializing in upper extremity orthopedics. Prior to joining CCOE, Johanna worked in orthopedic spine surgery as well as in orthopedic trauma. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver and then continued her education at UCCS. Johanna is skilled in the management of fractures and traumatic orthopedic injuries and is excited to be joining Dr. Henderson!

Brianne is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic spine conditions. As an integral part of the spine team, her role includes assisting Dr. Crowther during surgical procedures as well as evaluating and treating patients with spine disorders. Along with being directly trained by Dr. Crowther, she finds it important to stay up to date on the latest best practices in the orthopedic spine specialty and does so by frequently attending trainings, conferences and by being an active member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.

Brianne earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with honors from Simmons University in Boston, MA. Her prior experience includes working as an operating room nurse in spine and orthopedic surgeries. As proud Colorado natives, her and her husband enjoy the outdoors by hiking, traveling, dirt biking and spending time with their fur babies.

Stephanie is a nurse practitioner who specializes in evaluating and treating patients with upper extremity disorders. She assists Dr. Martyak with surgical procedures including acute fracture and trauma care, joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, and complex nerve procedures.

Stephanie earned her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Colorado. Prior to graduate school she worked for 8 years as Neuro-Trauma ICU nurse. She has worked with Dr. Martyak since 2012 and enjoys working with and taking care of her patients. She volunteers seeing patients at an indigent healthcare clinic in Colorado Springs and when she is not working Stephanie enjoys hiking, running, skiing, and traveling.

As a certified physician assistant, Matt works alongside Dr. Derek Purcell in the evaluation and treatment of orthopaedic and sports medicine conditions. He assists in the operating room with upper extremity and knee surgery, including both arthroscopy and joint replacement procedures.

Matt received his PA certification after graduating with a Masters in Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the CCOE team, Matt worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD with the shoulder, trauma, and sports medicine services.

Dana serves as a physician assistant for Dr. Kobayashi specializing in upper extremity and sports medicine orthopedic care. Her duties include managing patients in the clinic, fracture care and assisting cases in the operating room. She is proficient in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries as well as diagnosis and treatment of chronic orthopedic issues.Prior to joining the upper extremity team, Dana graduated from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ and subsequently completed a 1-year advanced fellowship in orthopedic surgery at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. As a certified physician assistant since 2010, Dana has extensive experience with patient care in both a primary care and orthopedic setting.

Miyoko Green is a board certified physician assistant and has worked with Dr. Shank at Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence since 2013. She assists Dr. Shank during surgical procedures and diagnoses and treats patients in the clinical setting. Miyoko and Dr. Shank work closely together and employ a team approach to their patient care. In addition to being trained directly by Dr. Shank, she frequently attends orthopedic and foot and ankle educational events to further her knowledge and provide the best and up to date care for her and Dr. Shank’s patients. Her clinical interests include surgical wound closure and wound care, injections including viscosupplementation, fracture care and assisting with pre-surgical planning.

Miyoko enjoys working with all patients including Olympic, professional and collegiate athletes and returning them to play. Miyoko is a compassionate care provider and is cherished by the patients and staff of CCOE.Miyoko attended the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biology from Metro State University in Denver. She worked in neuroimmunology research at the University of Colorado, where she was involved with numerous publications prior to becoming a PA. She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Colorado Medical School. She is active in PA education and advocacy and volunteers at the University of Colorado. She enjoys running, working out, skiing, travel and spending time with her rescue dogs, friends and family.

Assisting in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine conditions, Stephanie aids Drs. Karl Larsen, John Shank, and Derek Purcell. She assists in surgical procedures, including fracture care, trauma, arthroscopy, and joint reconstruction.

A graduate of the University of Colorado Denver’s Child Health Associate and Physician Assistant Program, Stephanie calls Colorado Springs home. Prior to becoming a PA, she spent time volunteering overseas.

Dr. Shannon Constantinides received her PhD from Florida Atlantic University, where she specialized in advanced applied biostatistics, population health, and health care delivery systems. As a researcher, Dr. Constantinides is interested in studying issues pertaining to musculoskeletal health and social determinants that impact health. Dr. Constantinides graduated from the University of Colorado with her Master of Science in Nursing, and is a board certified family nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience – primarily in orthopedics and sports medicine. She has been trained to assist in orthopedic surgical procedures and is skilled at performing imaging guided injections.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Dr. Constantinides was a critical care transport nurse in the United States Air Force, where she served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Constantinides is a Colorado Springs native. She and her husband enjoy fly fishing, mountain biking, yoga, CrossFit, and adventure travel.

Jeremy serves as a physician assistant for Dr. Dave Weinstein, evaluating and treating orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. Jeremy assists in surgical procedures including arthroscopy and ligament and joint reconstruction. He is skilled in fracture and trauma care of the lower and upper extremities, including knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, and elbow.

A Colorado Springs native, Jeremy graduated from Chicago Medical School’s Finch University of Health Sciences. Before receiving his PA certification, Jeremy worked in physical therapy and as an exercise physiologist for many years. He is active in orthopedic research and education.
